A full-day headshot booth at a conference usually costs a few thousand dollars. The real number depends less on the photographer's day rate than on what gets billed on top. Here is how pricing works, what to ask before you sign, and how to work out the cost per attendee.

Short answerPublished 2026 rates for a full-day conference headshot booth start around $3,200 to $3,850, before add-ons like instant delivery or retouching. BLINK's Full Day is $4,850 flat for events booked by December 31, 2026 ($5,250 for bookings from January 1, 2027), with travel, same-day delivery and basic retouching included. At up to 240 attendees, that is about $20 per person.

Key takeaways

  • Compare quotes by cost per attendee photographed, not by day rate.
  • Same-day delivery and retouching are the add-ons that move the price most.
  • BLINK Full Day: $4,850 (booked by Dec 31, 2026), $5,250 (booked from Jan 1, 2027), travel included.
  • One station covers up to 240 attendees in an 8-hour day.

How do headshot booth vendors price their work?

When you collect quotes you will usually see one of three models. Knowing which one you are looking at makes the quotes comparable.

1. Per person

You pay for each attendee photographed. It looks cheap on a small group and gets expensive at a conference, because you do not know your headcount until the day is over. It also creates an odd incentive: every extra attendee raises your bill.

2. Half day or full day, plus add-ons

The most common model. A base rate covers the photographer and the station for four or eight hours, and the features attendees actually notice are priced separately. On published 2026 rate cards we reviewed, full-day booths ran $3,200 to $3,850, with instant delivery listed at about $900 a day and retouching at around $39 per image. A low base rate can end well above a flat rate once those lines are added.

3. Flat rate, all in

One number for the day that already includes delivery, retouching, travel and the gallery. This is how BLINK prices Event Headshots, the same in any U.S. city. Procurement gets one line item, and nobody gets a surprise invoice after the event.

What drives the cost of a headshot booth?

  • Hours on site. Half day vs full day, and whether setup time is billed.
  • Attendees and stations. One station handles a set number of people per hour. Bigger crowds need a second station or a second day.
  • Delivery speed. Same-day, on-site delivery is the feature attendees value most, and the one most often sold as an extra.
  • Retouching. Basic touch-ups vs a full professional edit per person.
  • Travel. Local vendors often add travel, lodging and shipping for out-of-market events.
  • Gallery and email. A gallery and delivery email branded to your event.
  • Insurance. Venues ask for a Certificate of Insurance. Check whether it costs extra.

What is the cost per attendee?

The fairest way to compare quotes is cost per attendee photographed. A BLINK station paces up to 30 attendees per hour, so a full eight-hour day covers up to 240 people. Use the headshots-per-hour calculator to size your event.

For bookings made from January 1, 2027: Full Day $5,250, and multi-day events $5,000 per day (2-Day $10,000, 3-Day $15,000). For comparison, a single studio headshot in Los Angeles is $375 at our Marina del Rey studio (see the LA headshot price guide), which is why a free booth reads as a high-value perk.

What should you ask every vendor?

  1. Is same-day delivery included, or is it an add-on?
  2. How many attendees per hour does one station handle?
  3. Is retouching included? Basic or full?
  4. Are travel, lodging and equipment shipping included?
  5. Is there a per-person charge on top of the day rate?
  6. Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance for the venue?
  7. Is the attendee gallery and email branded to our event?
